Never trust your browser tabs

I had 120 browser windows open, all research on agentic coding. Papers, repos, threads, a few docs pages I had opened three times without noticing.

Then I closed the browser.

No restore prompt. No session recovery. My entire research phase went with it, and the only thing left was the vague feeling that one of those tabs was the important one.

Tabs are not storage. If something is worth reading later, save the link somewhere that survives a click on the red button: a note, a bookmark, a text file. Anything but the tab bar.

I'm starting over. This time with a file.
