The composer
The composer is the factory's intake, where a task becomes a job for an agent. What to do, where, with which agent and how much it may do alone are picked in one field before sending it.

The agent starts as soon as a folder is set, so its commands, modes and effort levels are in the composer before the first message.
Add and commands#
+ opens files to attach, a file to mention, and the agent's commands.
/ opens the commands from anywhere in the message. Typing narrows the list, and Tab takes the completion.
Files and folders#
@ mentions a file from the repository.
The folder picker lists recent repositories and searches them.
Permissions#
The permission mode sets how much the agent does alone and what waits for a person. It is a menu, and Shift+Tab cycles it from the field, as in Claude Code.
Agent and effort#
The model picker has one tab per agent. This is where the agent-agnostic harness shows up in the interface.
Effort is a slider from Faster to Smarter, read from the agent's own options. At Max the composer turns blue.
Sending#
A message goes to the agent. When it wants to run a command, the composer asks first.
